The Role: 
We are looking for an entry level Desktop Support Analyst with some Server and cloud experience to join our team in Langley.

The ideal candidate will help us to manage our growing list of clients with a variety of desktop and laptop computers as well as provide a wide range of services related to these systems. The candidate has hands-on technical skills and the ability to manage the full lifecycle of a computer. The ability to work independently is crucial, though strong teamwork and communication is also needed on a day to day basis. In addition, the candidate should have some experience working with server hardware and Operating Systems, as the position may involve entry-level server work. Experience with cloud technologies such as Office 365 and AWS is a strong asset to the position.


  • Troubleshoot general system issues on both the OS/Software and Hardware levels using RMM
  • Perform a variety of software installations on request; give general support for various different types of end users
  • Prioritize work in a ticket based support system
  • Create clear documentation to clarify procedures for other technicians
  • Work with external IT Vendors/Suppliers for support and troubleshooting
  • Create and modify user and email accounts, on-premises and in Office 365
  • Interact with our clients when needed for desktop and server support work
  • Communicate clearly with IT Support team, internal Staff, and clients in both written and spoken formats
  • Perform after hours work on emergency and scheduled basis and be on an on-call support rotation

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years Windows desktop OS experience (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10)
  • 1+ years Windows Server OS experience (2008R2, 2012R2, 2016) – good to have not required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is a strong asset
  • Understanding of the basics of Active Directory an asset
  • Smartphone Support Experience (iPhone, Android)
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service skills
  • ITIL experience an asset
  • Excellent Report & Documentation writing skills, Communication skills
  • Cloud experience (O365) is extremely helpful to the position


  • Preference will be given to candidates with MCSA/MCSE certifications in Microsoft Desktop technologies and/or Network certifications such as Network+. Azure and O365 certifications are also a very strong asset. Virtualization certification and experience is strongly valued, both in Microsoft and VMWare technologies
  • College certificate/Diploma is a strong asset. Preferred program(s) Computer Science/Engineering
